MEET YOUR COUNSELORS
Mrs. Holliday: K-1 School Counselor
Mrs. Jackson-Holliday is the School Counselor for Kindergarten and First-grade students at City View Elementary School. Mrs. Jackson-Holliday, received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in School Counseling and Guidance from Argosy University. This career path has allowed her to pursue her passion for children while advocating for the improvement of a child’s social/emotional, career readiness, and academic advancements. All students attending City View will have an opportunity to receive individual counseling, small group intervention skills, and whole-group career and academic readiness lessons. Students will also receive lessons to enhance their social and emotional awareness. Additional duties and responsibilities include facilitating Response to Intervention (RTI) meetings, collaborating with parents and staff, creating 504 academic plans, and Hospital Hound Bound coordination.
In my free time, I enjoy working out, playing contact flag football, basketball, visiting parks, exploring new restaurants, shopping, and being the best baseball mom ever! I am thrilled to be a part of the City View family. It's going to be a great school year!

Mr. Tyrone Oliver- 4-5th Grade School Counselor
Mr. Oliver is the school counselor for 5th grade. This is his 18th year at Riverside. He graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage and served 10 years in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Oliver duties include conducting individual and group counseling, classroom guidance, and student mediation. His other duties are Hospital Homebound Coordinator , Tier 3 Coordinator, and 504 Coordinator for 4th grade.

Mrs. Greer: 2-3 School Counselor
Mrs. Greer is the Professional School Counselor for fourth grade. She is a child advocate who passionately works to motivate and inspire children to be the “Shining Lights” they were meant to be. A Detroit native, Mrs. Greer began her journey in educational studies at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. After obtaining her B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education, she worked as a classroom teacher for eight years in the Atlanta Public School System before joining Cobb County Schools in 2005. Realizing that she wanted to focus on the social/emotional needs of students and families, Mrs. Greer obtained her M. Ed. in Counseling Psychology from Troy University and an Ed.S. in School Counseling from Jacksonville State University.
When not at City View, Mrs. Greer enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and traveling.
