SEL Choice Board Activities:


Sample SEL Choice Board Tasks:

  • Draw a picture of yourself. Write at least 10 strengths all around the image. (Self-Awareness: strengths & challenges)


  • Make a to-do list for your day or week. (Self-Management: planning ahead)


  • Draw and color a stoplight. Write the words “Stop, Think, Choose”. (Self-Management: self-control)


  • Choose any social rule or expectation. Design a poster explaining what social rule is are and why it is important. (Social Awareness: social expectations)


  • Create your own movie or book title for a story about a great friendship. (Relationships: friendship skills)


  • Explain the quote: “Apologizing doesn’t mean you were wrong. Sometimes it means you value the relationship more than your ego.” (Relationships: making up for mistakes)


  • Draw a scene from a movie or book where a character has to make a difficult decision. (Decision-Making: ethical decisions)
